![]() A reader asks: My questions are about our pets. We've had many cats and dogs over the years and a few I really felt a strong connection with. Our last dog was like a child to me and I even told my husband, to his surprise, that she was my "soul mate." It took me around two years to get over her passing. NO MORE PETS FOR US, unless one finds its way to our doorstep. Then I'd believe it was meant to be. I believe Erik [Medhus? We'll go with that assumption] said that some souls reincarnate as animals, sort of like a "break" from being a human. (Questions are hereafter numbered to match responses & replies from The Committee]
By the way I was so glad when I read that all animals have guardian angels. I can understand it. Most pets have more unconditional love than some humans. Sorry if some of these questions don't make sense. It's somewhat confusing to me. (Any other or more info is welcomed.) ============================================ Editorial sidebar comment: If a question or statement doesn't make sense, this is usually (not always) the responsibility of the listener / reader. Even if otherwise, expressions & injections of sorrow do not apply. The reader's much welcomed effort to compose & send such questions (being, among other things, a personal compliment) needs not be followed with offerings of sorrow. If society's offended snowflakes have achieved a goal of reflexively and constantly saying sorry when it rarely applies to circumstances, freako weirdo me isn't permitted among such an illustrious, socially erudite group. Even a simple, old fashioned "...pardon me..." is usually too much. The questions are perfectly sensible With small weight off the chest, the mind cleared and a few feathers ruffled maybe, we can proceed to answers from O Comitê: (Bias & slant disclosure: I grew up with two brothers, no sister and three dogs starting at age 4 until about 20. A dry spell until 26 and marriage has been followed by five cats (Heavenly residents now) and a dog still kicking at >13 years young. A dozen years of canine ↔ double feline overlap occurred, starting in 2010) 1. Greetings pets, owners and fellow souls, we say, many souls have been one, the other or both. The differences between what humans consider animals, pets, humans or other physical beings such as trees, is not as broad as it seems on & from Earth. This is not to say humans are animals or vice versa, for we understand the differences are enormous, but from the perspective of your soul in your natural home, the differences are but minor and always temporary. An example we offer; it might be common to call a violent and dangerous repeat human offender an animal, however animals so rarely seek, attack then kill for emotion, a member of their own group, species or tribe. Humans do this to other humans almost exclusively when it happens; which beings are the true animals? The borders between shift and blur with changing definitions. Yes, many incarnated souls have a human Earth surface incarnation as an animal of the wild variety, or a domesticated version such as livestock or pet of the many sorts, including the reverse. 2. Almost always, yes. 3. Yes, this is not rare. The pet sometimes incarnates as human, the human later incarnates as an animal by the human definition. 4. No humans, animals or other Earth surface beings live in Heaven as you do on Earth. The human perception and memory of Heaven in cases of near-death visits, seem to offer humans, animals and Earth surface environments, both man-made or otherwise, but this occurs only because the soul shall return to the dull, blurred gray world Earth offers. 5. None. We now add more information as asked and suggested, these are wonderful interpretive questions about Heaven observed through human experience filtration. We congratulate you and everyone who sees such enquiries as making sense, good evidence that human incarnation is a success. The farthest and more quickly a human falls —or seems to— in reality the greater, higher and faster s/he rises. The view, perception and appreciation of this effect operates on a time delay; everything does in Earth's surface time illusion. A reader asks:
I apologize in advance if this line of questioning has already been covered, or if The Committee doesn't choose to weigh in, in which case chuck the questions. Thank you for all you and [The Committee] do. It has been covered; the apology is rejected. 'Twas neither requested nor required. If place & need for that were necessary, questions would not be taken on this website. Note if you haven’t already, how asking questions most places isn't possible or requires application of pecuniary energy. [ pe•cu•ni•ar•y adjective relating to or consisting of money] Q1. Do sentient beings in other universes encounter similar ill health and painful sicknesses, both physical and mental, which we humans face? A: Sayeth The Committee: “Yes, of course. How similar or different they are, is a bigger question, for the differing anatomies and chemistries mean different effects apply; humans know not what it means to have scales fall off the body’s exterior surface, or how that limits physical abilities. You humans, as equally strange, even weird creatures to the scaled beings, suffer from having hair fall out or painful skin rashes, equally unusual. Mental illness are more similar but occur principally as self-inflicted conditions. Social habits, customs and expectations, both family or generally developed socially, are a large cause of mental illnesses on Earth among humans. Because of this, solutions are more obvious but also the conditions are more resistant to repair. Humans like what humans know and know what humans like; dislikes are a large piece of human preferences. Many sicknesses afflicting human mental function can be solved by moving the patient to an environment where the idea, notion thus imposition of patient status are not held or practiced. Removal of the stigma humans attach to medical treatment for mental dysfunction is more than half the solution, repair and recovery. Physical sickness on Earth is as often self-inflicted as not, thus many as-you-name-them sentient or critical-thinker beings, practice removal of self- generated causes to solve them. This is within human capability. The life plan aspect of contacting a disease, disability or condition or coming under the effects, exist everywhere in the galaxy and in others. Q2. Even worse, do some [sentient beings] encounter "health challenges" with their own progeny (do they have progeny?) which are torturous, such as some of their children being born with ultimately fatal diseases* which cause the entire lifespan to be an excruciating exercise in progressive worsening, up to and including death? Pain, hopelessness, and helplessness in children and loved ones is always so much worse than having to endure anything oneself. A: "Progeny are nearly universal among physical beings. Earth is not unique but is exemplary. Earth serves as a typical example of what can be found on nearly any inhabited planet. Physical beings do not live on stars; likewise, most planets cannot support physical life within the available chemistries and conditions required for it in the applicable dimensions. Physical conditions are mostly torturous because of perception. We do not mean to say the conditions are pleasant, that perceptions can be tossed away at will, that holding such perceptions is pejorative, negative or that blame, responsibility and repentance apply; they do not. Human life is a fatal disease. Are you aware of humans who do not die or pass on from or in good health? What you describe occurs everywhere sentient beings exist. Where these conditions are not possible, sentient beings would be robots and drones; we suggest the human television program fictional characters The Borg of Star Trek series as an example. This does not exist to such extreme as portrayed in the show." Q3. Do sentient beings in other universes pray? What prompted this question: * I ran across mention this morning of Batten Disease, an ultimately fatal illness which normally reveals itself between ages 5-10, and I immediately said a prayer to God and "To Whom It May Concern" that the children and their families be somehow given strength and help to endure this terrible sequence to its bitter end, and that the survivors be given balm for their hearts to somehow continue on after the sorrow and relief of death of their precious child. A: "Yes, however the prayer meaning is different —and often unique to— a civilization. Where humans often mean to God or to an Angel, prayer more broadly means telepathic communication. The idea a greater invisible power exists, that such authority can be called in, invoked and summoned with the right request, is quite different from one civilization to another. Some do this far less, other civilizations do it constantly, despite little or nearly zero connection between the mental effort and tangible, preferred and hoped-for results. If nothing terrible happened to any human, you would cease to be humans. Rejection, condemnation and even revulsion at the idea humans can often insert such things into a life plan is part of the humanness all members of mankind share. This aspect of human existence is a great attraction for incarnation." An article sent by a loyal, long-time reader: A reader asks:
If we have to come back for another incarnation, are / is there another planet/s with humans on them, or is Earth the only option? A well packaged question worth unpacking.
Respondeth The Committee:
Reminder folks, please send questions for The Committee through the Contact page. It helps me organize a LOT better. ![]()

About 666 moons ago this month (what a number) a future big hit song by American singer Aretha Franklin (same title as this post) was released. It offered currently relevant lyrics, considering the reader question below, after my mutilation of some of the original song's words, for which I request forgiveness: For long, long years, I thought life was the plan But I found out, I'm just a link in some chain, oh It got me where it wants me, I ain't nothing but its fool It treated me so mean, oh, it treated me cruel Chain, chain, chain (chain, chain, chain) Chain of fools 🎵🎶 The reader asks: Up, Up & away! After this human existence, where do we go next? Just further up the "fool" chain? (The first three words of this question come from about 670 moons ago, same year as above [1967] a hit song released by The Fifth Dimension. The Committee responds: We go nowhere. You remain right where you are, where you have always been and shall always be. What you will see again is who you are and what is your home. In your human English here and there are but a small letter difference as occurs in most human languages. This has happened because here and there are the same place looked at from opposite sides. No fools exist, thus none exist as humans. Words and the meanings humans give and accept for them, have effects because these are beliefs. We are you and you are we; we are us. We are all one, and we are always together. Nothing foolish applies to human incarnation except the misbegotten notion —a most voluntary human choice— that so could life be. We prefer to say after the human experience, because y/our existence is eternal. What happens before a soul incarnates, during the journey and after the trip finishes, all such things are chosen. Some things in advance of birth, some things afterwards, some things on the spur of the moment and often chosen by someone else, making the occurrence seem random. To some participants it is, but this is not common. The random, matter-of-frate nature something might have, is a choice for the human to see, feel and pass through the event with this perspective. To respond to what an incarnation veteran soul does, usually s/he goes on tour, as humans would call the process or activity. S/he attends groups of souls gathered to meet with and hear from the veteran of Earth incarnation, to ask questions and stand in the experience temporarily. You might, may and can provide the chance to any soul who asks, to spend a brief moment in the experience you had, to share the sensations and then your learning & growth from it. This is not usually possible without the permission of and invitation by the veteran soul, so as can be imagined, the chance to glimpse into the brief moments of experience a soul traversed, such opportunity is seized by many a fellow soul in Heaven. You will all do what you choose, the options are so many we could never list them all; you would reach your death before finishing a reading of the list. Be well, one and all. Do return. In a few quarters, including around Heaven, it could be well argued that the title of this post is a massive oxymoron, but either way —on Earth as it is in Heaven— the phrase is here to stay. Okay, bad joke time: a computer programmer was very hungry and went to the computer store for a megabyte. 🙄 (I did say it was bad joke).
